Claude Monet
Claude Monet (1840–1926) was a French painter and a founding figure of Impressionism. Fascinated by light, atmosphere, and the changing seasons, Monet spent much of his life capturing fleeting moments in nature, from coastal landscapes to his famous gardens at Giverny. His innovative approach to color and observation transformed modern painting and made him one of the most beloved artists in history.
